At Tulsa Honor Academy (THA), we are on a mission to equip all scholars with the academic skills, content knowledge, and ethical character required for college graduation and life success.

We believe ALL scholars, regardless of race, background, income or ability, can achieve at high levels. We work relentlessly to ensure 100% of scholars are on a path to go to and graduate from a college of their choice, beginning in the fifth grade. 

Opening our doors in 2015 with 92 fifth grade scholars, THA will grow to serve over 1,300 scholars in grades 5-12 across our two campuses in the 2024-2025 academic year.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

Tulsa Honor Academy’s Curriculum and Instruction Manager is a member of our Network Leadership Team.  The CIM will drive improvements in scholar academic achievement across the Tulsa Honor Academy Network by ensuring all subjects have high quality instructional materials that drive on-grade level results. The CIM will design curriculum materials which include but are not limited to  assessments, pacing calendars, teacher-facing materials, and student-facing materials in alignment with Tulsa Honor Academy standards as well as appropriate and applicable content standards. The CIM will monitor implementation of curriculum through observation and data analysis across the network to ensure fidelity and successful execution of curriculum. The CIM will support projects and tasks aligned with and supporting academic initiatives as needed by the Chief Academic Officer.

Core Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Development: Design and develop high quality curriculum materials using backwards planning  methods across various subjects and grade levels 
  • Professional Development/Skill Building: Create and facilitate professional development that ensures successful implementation of curriculum across the network. Provide supplemental support to various stakeholders to skillbuild towards implementation of curriculum as needed (teachers, APs, Principals, etc.)
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, and devise systems of accountability to ensure successful implementation of curriculum
  • Feedback: Provide thorough and actionable feedback that drives towards successful implementation of high quality instructional materials across the network. Ensures that all teachers across the Network are implementing their specific curriculum to fidelity. 
  • Quality Assurance: Create and/or revise curriculum materials to ensure alignment, accuracy, ease of use, consistency, and adherence to formatting and structural standards. 

THE DETAILS

Qualifications/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s Degree Preferred) 
  • Active state teaching certification is preferred

Experience

  • 3 years of experience as a K-12 teacher 
  • A proven track record of driving academic growth and achievement 
  • Experience in curriculum supervision, design, or school leadership is preferred

Role

  • Curriculum and Instruction Manager will work on THA’s Network Team and report to the Chief Academic Officer. 
  • Full time, year round, exempt. 

Compensation and Benefits
